carried out, but no minutes Issue 21 Sept 2018: Many rule changes put forward by Dennis. the following rules were changed: Rule 3e: compettion sectretary duties have changed so that "The committee as a whole with arrange dates, formats and will organise all competitions and make sure they are all run in a correct and proper manner." Rule 11b added The commttee and all captains will meet half way into the season with Data, time and venue confirmed.. Rule 15: Transfers, from 2018 only 2 transfers are now allowed during the season should be paid to the league by the captain or nominee to the results envelope and posted by hand, with the results sheet. The envelope must also include a full description of players and moneys involved. Rule 19: changed from 1996 EPA rules to "world rules" Rule 21: now reads as "Officers of the league will do their duties on a voluntary basis." (no honarariums) Rule 23: competition entry is no longer free, or included from team registration and are added under "basic rules" 23 Although not on theAgenda, it was voted on that " Teams are only required to fill in the first six games at the start of the night, the rest can be completed after the sixth game."

No new rules put forward. This season Carol and Mick Florey stepped down from the pool league. Taken over by Tony Cracknel, Colin Creasey, Gez and Matt Miles
Rule 6 became rule 6a and added rule 6b as follows Added basic rule 18 as follows: The exception to rule 6a is that A bar person is allowed to play home games for ANY single home team. (Could be another team week after!) Amended rule 14 of the Constitution to read: 14. On registering, a team shall produce a list of at least 6 players to be registered for that team. Any new players will be deemed to have registered once they have played for that team and can play for no other team unless a transfer takes place. No new players may play or be registered for any team during the period covering the last 2 matches of the league season. (it used to be last 6 weeks of the league)
Added basic rule 18 as follows: 18. Teams that do not field a team twice in a season should be automatically dropped from the league, with consideration to be given for re-entry in future seasons. Late notification is acceptable upto 3pm on match day. 3 players or more to be considered a team. Basic Rule 7: OLD: The winning team should insure that the result card is delivered to the home of the results secretary by 7.00 p.m. on the Tuesday following the match. NEW: It is the responsibility of BOTH teams to provide a result sheet to the home of the results secretary by 7.00 p.m. on the Tuesday following the match.
OLD: Ladies Singles All players must have played at least 2 league matches NEW: Ladies Singles All players must be registered - ie must have played ONE match.
11 has become 11a and 11b has been added. 11b. Team captains are responsible in the first instance for monitoring behaviour to ensure it is conducive to the principle of fair play. Should a player feel intimidated by an opponents threatening behaviour they should appeal to the referee. If this cannot resolve the matter the penalty will be referral to the committee for consideration and the possibility of forfeiture of team points and/or a ban from the league. If the team are unhappy with this an EGM should be called to appeal.
