  A dilemma with Division 2 for 2nd place! The Dooley gained 24 points by 2 separate teams not showing up in the last half of the season. This is no fault of their own and the rules cater for two "no shows" from the same team, but not different teams. After much debate in the committee, the rules allow us no alternative, but to let the points stand. This is unlucky, no doubt for the Guzzlers. I have a few ideas to improve the running of the league, hopefully to make it easier for teams to get full teams for next season and can be discussed and voted for at the AGM for next season.
  
  NOT played yet is the game between Snooker Stayers and Drunken Masters. (Finals night) So some player scores yet to be added too!

• 27/04/12 Banter just informed me that they lost 6-3, so league table updated, for the benefit of the Snooker Stayers!
• 27/04/12 Singles and player results updated for week 17, but WHAT a MESS, created by teams not turning up: Ordnance and Cork. Last week of the league this week, so please turn out a team.

• 28/03/12 Singles updated (properly) Div 1: Rob Williams Vs Simon Trudgett. Div 2: Marc Lloyd Vs Rob Baker. Also minor doubles addition: Kev Bowen/ Nick Taylor added.

• 07/03/12 This Sunday, next round of Singles: Div 1 to be played at the Snooker Club. Division 2 will be played at the Q club. Also no more player registrations or transfers allowed.

• Sad news that Keith Hurst who played for many years (since 1994 to 2007) in the league has passed away, details are not known except his funeral was last Monday.
